This is the story of Pasha - a young woman from the Ukraine who used Bitcoin to flee her war torn country. Pasha is originally from Crimea, has lived in Canada, came back to a Russian occupied home, had to flee to Kiew and finally to Western Europe.
Money and the use of Bitcoin/crypto has played a big role in all of this, starting with traveller checks.
We taped this interview in the Summer of 2022 in Alpbach, Tyrol. I do apologize to Pasha for taking so long to publish this. Unfortunately her story hasn’t lost any relevance since then as the war is still going on.
This is the charity, Pasha mentioned in the podcast: https://savelife.in.ua/en/donate-en/#donate-army-crypto
